Delilah + Roni Engagement

When moving to a new city or starting a new job, you always wonder how the workplace friendships will be...will everyone be attracted or put off by your personality and so on. Well, it's very rare that I don't have generally good connections with the people I work with and Delilah is certainly one of those great connections. My first job moving back to Dallas (aside from photography of course) was with insurance. It was your standard business casual, 9-5, cubicle job...making me restless to breakout one day, but I had Delilah there to make it certainly bearable. She's a total sweetheart who is hilarious and always brought an atmosphere of joy when she's around. When her and her fiance, Roni, got engaged she was very excited to begin the process of joining their lives together and I was happy to be a small part of that by photographing their engagement portraits. They are a young couple very into the city life. If I needed any new brunch places to try like Jonathan's in Oak Cliff or my new absolute favorite, Ellen's Southern Kitchen in the West End, I knew for sure it was a quality suggestion from Delilah. With both her willing to try new places and Roni's never meeting a stranger, you can only imagine the life that's ahead for these two.

We started in the Arts District of Downtown/Uptown Dallas, which was perfect backdrop for these two. The mix of beautiful buildings and greenery worked well together. I wish these two so much joy and happiness...
