There is something romantic about the changing of seasons. A romance reminiscent of an unending summer, or one as fleeting as spring and fall.

I’ve had a camera in my had for as long as I can remember. Whether is was holding 6 cameras on a Sunday before church at my grandparents house when we were all getting ready, or in college at a probate. It’s been there. Over time it’s meant the world to me and at others, a cause of heartache. The thing is, once the feelings have passed or evolved, those images still remain the same. That’s always been something poetic to me and a form of expression I hope to always have.

My hope is that my work these days, tells the story of those who may not have the means to tell it otherwise. Those small moments of history can mean the world.

After almost 20 years of this, I hope that I get another 20 to capture and share.
